To make your poem truly personal, we shall of course need you to supply as much background material of your subject as possible, and the feelings you want to express. This will form the substance of the poem and the more you provide, the longer the poem can be. The more information you can provide – the better the final result!

It is also important to provide the following:
- The recipient of the poem (name, age, any interesting/funny stories and anecdotes)
- The occasion it is for (Wedding? Funeral? Christening? Retirement? etc.)
- The tone and mood of the poem (light? comic? serious? religious?)
- The length you would like your poem to be (please bear in mind that a short poem of approx 30 lines will take about 1 minute to read)
- The date the poem is needed for

It is often easier to discuss details by phone. If you feel this is appropriate and you are happy for Richard to call you to discuss your poem personally, please include a telephone number in your enquiry email.

After you email us, we will contact you to confirm your order, check the length/price of your poem and also request further information if required. Work on your personal poem will then begin.

Only after consultation and work has begun will we ask you for payment by PayPal or cheque.
